Hi my name is Kelly Vaughan I'm document geek and today I want to show you how you can use the tools within the free Acrobat Reader software in order to fill out a scanned form there's really no reason to print this off fill it out by hand and then find a scanner to scan it back into your computer you can do it all right here on your computer without any actual paper involved whatsoever so when I open up this PDF it comes in with this nice sidebar of tools here on the side I'm going to click on the comment tool and then notice up here this top toolbar is contextual so whatever tools that I have selected all the secondary tools within it are going to be grouped up here I'm going to click on the add text comment and basically this works as a typewriter you can type wherever you want it's great so just click type the name of your company if that's what your form field requires and you'll notice here that it's a little too low so I can just select this text comment here on the side and scoot it up a little bit then I can continue adding the rest of my information each time I click in the form it will create a new text comment over on the side and if you don't like the color or the font choice you can adjust that here under the text properties you can also use this text tool to add little X marks wherever you need a checkbox so there it is you can use the free tools within the Adobe Reader software to fill out a scan form it doesn't cost any money and it's much much easier...
